Clamshell Mac Conversion
I have always been obsessed with two types of computers the classic Thinkpad, and the 2007-2009 white clamshell MacBook. At this point in my life I daily drive a Lenovo Thinkpad, which is nice and modern and works. However there will never be a new 2007-2009 MacBook as Apple has moved away from that type of design.
This means that I had to of course take apart one of those old macs, and replace all of its guts with new internals, and use it as a beater laptop.

At this point I had gutted the machine, and was just starting to get ready to write the drivers and design the layout of the interals to then actually be able to use it.
This is the first time that I got the screen to properly display what I wanted, at this point it was being driven by my Thinkpad.
This is the end of the line, where I had everything designed, fabricated, written, and bodged together into the same form that it was originally in. Just with vastly improved specs.
I love this laptop, I’m using it to write this at present. I hope to have it for the rest of my days.
